After a shuffle of "tails" between the various C-17 wings, 062 now serves with the 437th Airlift Wing JB Charleston, SC.

At Charleston, the aircraft was renamed "Sprit of Americas POWs & MIAs" once given to another C-17 at the base, s/n 01-0190.
