Combat tactics
SFs demonstrate the ability to execute
a close-in security plan for a mobility aircraft parked at a
simulated austere airfield.
Combat endurance course
SF participants face 23 obstacles on a
2K course followed by a cross-country run. The team
completing the course in the fastest time wins the event.
Combat weapons
This event tests a team's ability to
engage targets over rough terrain using both the M874
shotgun and M9 pistol. The course includes both pop-up and
steel targets.
